Nerve Soothe is a 2-capsule, 900 mg blend of five herbs sold online as natural neuropathy relief, and no published study of the product exists. We read the label, the sales letter, the order form and the terms on October 28, 2026 [3].

None of the five herbs has a human trial for peripheral neuropathy, and two of them, passionflower and California poppy, are sedating [12][15]. If you take nerve medicine, keep taking it as prescribed and talk to your prescriber before adding anything. Our method is on the JillLebofsky how we check products page.

What is Nerve Soothe and what does the vendor claim?

The vendor says Nerve Soothe is "the only product that has been scientifically proven to stabilize neuropathy permanently" and that it "will work for anyone no matter their age, gender, or genetics" [1]. The references listed under that claim are a faculty profile, a Mayo page, rat and cell studies and a 1977 nutrition abstract. None is a trial of the product.

The seller is the vendor itself at getnervesoothe.com, with affiliates paid through the MaxWeb network. The label reads "Distributed by: Nerve Soothe, Miami Beach, FL 33139" and names no company [3].

Who might consider Nerve Soothe, and who should not?

Nerve Soothe may interest an adult with diagnosed, stable neuropathy who wants to try an herbal blend alongside the care plan from their clinician, not in place of it. It is a poor fit for anyone with new or unexplained nerve symptoms, because numbness, tingling or burning can come from many causes that need a diagnosis.

The sales letter calls Lyrica, gabapentin and Lipoderm drugs that "just masked his pain never fixing the problem at its root cause" [2]. Vendor testimonials describe one buyer who is "completely off my meds" and another who "rejected the doctors offer" of medicine [1]. No study of Nerve Soothe supports those stories.

Never stop or change a prescribed medicine without your prescriber. Skip the product if you are pregnant, take sedating medicine or drive for work, for the reasons in the side effects section below.

How does Nerve Soothe claim to work?

The vendor says Nerve Soothe "blocks the three enzymes that Cause Neuropathy pain," naming COX-2, PGE-2 and MMP-13, and that it "eliminates from the body the root cause of all neuropathy Cases" [2]. No human data for the product backs either statement.

What is known is narrower. The corydalis story rests on a University of California Irvine release about Corydalis yanhusuo, a species the label does not list; the label says Corydalis lutea [2][3]. Pain research on yanhusuo is mostly animal and cell work on its alkaloids [18].

California poppy relieved pain in mice and acted on benzodiazepine receptors there [15]. Passionflower's human trials measure anxiety and sleep, and neuralgia is only a traditional use [14]. A calmer mood or better sleep is a different outcome from repaired nerves, and the vendor offers no test of either in buyers.

What ingredients are in Nerve Soothe?

Nerve Soothe contains five herbs per 2-capsule serving: passionflower herb 290 mg, marshmallow root 220 mg, Corydalis lutea 4:1 extract 200 mg, prickly pear 20:1 extract 100 mg and California poppy seed 90 mg [3]. Other ingredients are magnesium stearate, gelatin and rice flour.

The label does not state the plant part for prickly pear or corydalis, or any standardized marker compound. The grades below rate evidence for nerve pain, using the studies in our sources.

IngredientAmountDose disclosedBest human evidenceGrade for nerve pain
Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata)290 mgYesAnxiety and sleep trials, most small; review of 9 trials found reduced anxiety [13]Weak
Marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis)220 mgYesCough and sore throat in herb combinations [21]Weak
Corydalis lutea 4:1200 mgYesNone for this species in our sources; yanhusuo data are preclinical [18]Weak
Prickly pear 20:1 (Opuntia)100 mgYesGlucose and blood pressure trials with high risk of bias [22][23]Weak
California poppy seed90 mgYesAnxiety only within a fixed combination product [16]Weak

The species gap matters. Corydalis lutea is a different plant from Corydalis yanhusuo, the species the sales letter describes, so the yanhusuo research the vendor leans on does not transfer. The sales letter also calls the formula a "Proprietary Blend," though the label prints each amount.

Each herb, its dose and its studies are covered in our Nerve Soothe ingredients breakdown, and the capsule material is covered on the Nerve Soothe capsules page.

Does Nerve Soothe work for nerve health?

No study shows that Nerve Soothe works for neuropathy or nerve health. There is no trial of the finished product, and none of its five herbs has a human trial for peripheral neuropathy in the sources we checked [12][14][18].

Step 1: Is it plausible?

Partly, for comfort and sleep. California poppy eased pain in mice [15], and corydalis alkaloids show pain effects in animal and cell work [18]. Animal findings often fail in people.

Step 2: Do the ingredients have human trials?

For calm and sleep, passionflower has the most: a systematic review of 9 trials found most reported less anxiety [13]. NCCIH says there is not enough evidence on passionflower for pain conditions such as fibromyalgia [12]. California poppy's human data come from a combination with hawthorn and magnesium, so its own share cannot be separated [16]. Marshmallow root and prickly pear have no nerve or calm trials.

Step 3: Was the product itself tested?

No. The vendor's FAQ answers "Does Nerve Soothe really work? Yes. It's scientifically proven," but cites no trial of Nerve Soothe [1]. The supported answer is that it may make some people drowsy or calmer, and nothing more is shown. The Nerve Soothe benefits page sorts each vendor claim against this evidence.

Nerve Soothe side effects: who should ask a doctor first?

Ask a doctor before Nerve Soothe if you take sedating medicine, medicine processed by liver enzymes, diabetes or blood pressure medicine, or if you are pregnant. Passionflower and California poppy can cause drowsiness, and the vendor's line "taken by thousands of folks with no reported side effects" comes with no safety data [1].

  • Passionflower: drowsiness, dizziness and confusion; avoid in pregnancy; stop 2 weeks before surgery [12].
  • California poppy: sedating in mice, with possible added effect alongside benzodiazepines [15]; ethanol extracts blocked CYP3A4, 2C9, 2C19 and 2D6 in lab tests [17].
  • Corydalis: its alkaloid l-THP blocks dopamine receptors [19], and a Chinese pain product, Jin Bu Huan, was tied to hepatitis [20].
  • Prickly pear: stomach upset in trials; may add to diabetes and blood pressure drugs [22][23].

See a doctor right away if you have:

  • Sudden weakness, numbness or drooping on one side of the face or body
  • A foot wound, blister or color change you cannot feel or that will not heal
  • Loss of bladder or bowel control, or numbness spreading quickly
  • Yellow skin or eyes, dark urine or heavy drowsiness after starting the product

Details by ingredient and drug group are on the Nerve Soothe side effects page.

What do Nerve Soothe complaints and buyer reports show?

We found no public complaint record for Nerve Soothe in the sources that loaded, and the main consumer site could not be checked. On October 28, 2026, a BBB search for "nerve soothe" returned "No Results Found" [9].

Trustpilot blocked our request and had no archived copies, so it is NOT checked [24]. openFDA showed no recalls under food or drug enforcement and no reports in the FDA adverse event database for the product name [10][11][26].

FDA's tainted product lists did not load, and FTC actions were not searched: both are NOT checked. The domain getnervesoothe.com was registered on June 26, 2024 [8], so a short record is expected. The vendor's testimonials are its own selection. Updates go on the Nerve Soothe complaints page.

How much does Nerve Soothe cost?

Nerve Soothe costs $138 for 2 bottles, $177 for 3 and $294 for 6 on the vendor order form, checked October 28, 2026 [4]. There is no 1-bottle option on the form, although a sales video card shows "$69 per bottle, 30-day supply" [1].

What is the Nerve Soothe refund policy?

Nerve Soothe has a 60-day refund window, but the vendor's pages disagree on what it covers. The sales page promises "every dollar back... even if the container is completely empty. No questions asked" [1].

The terms cover "any defective product within 60 days from the date of purchase," require returns to be received within 60 days, and say "WE WILL NOT ACCEPT A 6 MONTH SUPPLY OF EMPTY PRODUCT CONTAINERS AFTER ONLY 1 OR 2 MONTHS" [5].

  1. Pack the bottles, used or not, with your name, email, order number and original packing slip.
  2. Ship to Shipoffers, 19655 E 35th Dr #25, Aurora, CO 80011 [6].
  3. Email the tracking number. No prepaid label is offered, and the terms do not say who pays return postage.

Where can you buy Nerve Soothe?

Nerve Soothe is sold through the vendor's own checkout, which our links reach. The vendor's affiliate terms forbid retail resale [25], so a bottle on Amazon, Walmart or eBay would come from an outside seller.

We did not check those marketplaces for listings. A third-party bottle is not covered by the vendor's 60-day refund, and you cannot confirm its storage or age. Buying from the vendor keeps the Shipoffers return route open. More is on the Nerve Soothe Amazon and Walmart page.

Is Nerve Soothe legit?

Nerve Soothe is a real product that ships with a full label and a stated refund process, but the seller is thinly identified and the sales claims go well past the evidence. The label names only "Nerve Soothe, Miami Beach, FL," with an email and the phone line (888) 273-8270 [3].

The About page says the company was "started by a doctor," while the sales letter's narrator writes "I am not a doctor" [7][2]. The FAQ and the About page describe the unnamed facility differently, one as approved and one as registered with FDA. FDA registration is not an approval. The returns address and terms template match other supplement funnels. See the Is Nerve Soothe legit page.

Nerve Soothe vs other approaches to nerve health

Nerve Soothe has the thinnest evidence of the options below. A clinician's diagnosis and prescribed medicine come first; herbal calm aids have small trials for anxiety and sleep, not nerve repair.

ApproachStrengthLimitation
Diagnosis by a clinicianFinds the cause of numbness or burningNeeds a visit and tests
Prescribed nerve medicine (gabapentin, Lyrica and others)Prescribed and monitored by your clinicianSide effects; changes need your prescriber
Passionflower aloneSmall human trials for anxiety and sleep [13]Not enough evidence for pain [12]
Nerve Soothe blendFull label, five herbsNo product trial; corydalis species mismatch

How we weigh evidence is set out on the JillLebofsky method page.

How do you take Nerve Soothe?

The label serving is 2 capsules, with 30 servings per 60-capsule bottle [3]. The label image we read gives the serving size but no timing, so taking them with food or at night is our inference from the drowsiness risk, not a vendor instruction. Do not drive until you know how the capsules affect you, and tell your prescriber before you start. The capsules page covers storage and the gelatin shell.

Nerve Soothe: final take

Nerve Soothe suits an adult with diagnosed neuropathy, cleared by their doctor, who wants an herbal blend with a printed label and accepts that no study shows it helps nerves. Passionflower may bring some calm or sleep; that is the extent of the evidence.

Skip it if you are pregnant, take sedatives or several medicines, have liver problems, or hope to come off prescribed nerve medicine. The sales letter's "just masked" framing and the quit-your-meds testimonials are the vendor's words, and no study backs them. If you do buy, choose a size you can finish inside 60 days and keep every bottle and the packing slip.

Frequently asked questions

What is in Nerve Soothe capsules?

Each 2-capsule serving holds 290 mg passionflower, 220 mg marshmallow root, 200 mg Corydalis lutea 4:1, 100 mg prickly pear 20:1 and 90 mg California poppy seed, 900 mg in all. Other ingredients are magnesium stearate, gelatin and rice flour, per the vendor label read October 28, 2026.

Can I stop gabapentin or Lyrica if I take Nerve Soothe?

No. Never stop or change a prescribed medicine without your prescriber. The sales letter says those drugs "just masked" pain and shows buyers quitting medicine, but no study of Nerve Soothe supports that. Bring any change to your prescriber first.

Is Nerve Soothe plant based or vegetarian?

The sales letter says "100% Plant Based Capsule Contents," but the label lists gelatin among the other ingredients, which means an animal-derived capsule. People who avoid animal products should assume Nerve Soothe is not vegetarian unless the vendor confirms a different capsule in writing.

Which corydalis is in Nerve Soothe?

The label lists Corydalis lutea 4:1 at 200 mg. The sales letter describes Corydalis yanhusuo and cites a University of California Irvine release about that species. They are different plants, so the yanhusuo research the vendor quotes does not apply to the species on the label.

Does Nerve Soothe make you sleepy?

It may. Passionflower can cause drowsiness, dizziness and confusion per NCCIH, and California poppy was sedating in mice. Avoid driving until you know your response, and ask a doctor first if you take sleep aids, benzodiazepines or other sedating medicine.

How long does one bottle of Nerve Soothe last?

One bottle holds 60 capsules and the label serving is 2 capsules, so a bottle lasts 30 days. The order form has no single-bottle option, so the smallest order of 2 bottles covers 60 days, the same length as the refund window.

Is there a Nerve Soothe discount or coupon?

The vendor order form, checked October 28, 2026, lists exit-discount items at 2 bottles for $128, 3 for $157 and 6 for $234. Regular prices are $138, $177 and $294, with free shipping shown and one-time charges.

Can I get a refund on empty Nerve Soothe bottles?

The sales page says yes, even if the container is empty. The terms limit refunds to defective product, require returns to reach Shipoffers in Aurora, Colorado within 60 days of purchase, and refuse a 6-month supply of empty containers after one or two months.

Who makes Nerve Soothe?

No company is named. The label says Distributed by Nerve Soothe, Miami Beach, FL 33139, with a vendor email and the phone line (888) 273-8270. Returns go to Shipoffers in Aurora, Colorado. The vendor describes its facility as FDA registered but does not name it.

Is Nerve Soothe safe during pregnancy?

Avoid it. NCCIH advises against passionflower in pregnancy because it may induce uterine contractions, and the other herbs lack pregnancy safety data in our sources. Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding should ask their doctor before taking any herbal nerve supplement.
